GOP Senators send McConnell a letter pushing him NOT to sell out voters on big spending bill…

Several conservative Senators sent Mitch McConnell a letter today pushing him not to sell out voters with an omnibus spending bill that would fund the next ten months of Biden’s agenda.

Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rick Scott and Mike Braun told McConnell that Republicans should not allow anything other than a short-term Continuing Resolution that funds the government until just after Republicans take control of the House in January.

This letter comes after McConnell suggested there was “widespread agreement” from leadership in both parties for a big omnibus spending bill.

Here’s the letter:

Voters just decided to put Republicans in charge of the House and it would be a huge slap in the face if McConnell gave in to Democrats to fund Biden’s agenda for most of next year.

But I really don’t think McConnell cares about this letter or slapping voters in the face. I think he’ll ignore the concerns of Lee, Cruz, Scott and Braun and will proceed with screwing over the American people like he normally does.

I’d love to be wrong about this…
