Gordon Brown: Remember when you had to wait 2 years for an operation? Now it’s only 18 weeks!

Brown says this as if it is a great thing. Perhaps it is in context, but when you step out of their world and into ours, 18 weeks would be derided here by all standards as inhumane. Of course, that is in fact what we look forward to.

Thank you Obama for making us more like Europe.
