As one person pointed out on Twitter, this just shows how much DeSantis is a team player. And that’s exactly right.
Some might think it’s a waste of time to campaign for a Republican in such a heavy Democratic state, but I think DeSantis recognizes that Zeldin has a real chance of winning and wants to add his star power to Zeldin’s appeal to get him over the top. The same goes for Youngkin.
Speaking of Democratic states, Decision Desk is now predicting an Oz victory over Fetterman, which will help Republicans to victory in the Senate:
Mehmet Oz (R) is favored over John Fetterman (D) in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race for the first time. Oz now has a 53.1% chance of winning, but the race remains a toss-up. https://t.co/zGQ6WQkiFL
