Governor DeSantis responded to the Trump indictment tonight and said he will not assist with any extradition request.
DeSantis condemned the indictment of Trump and accused the “Soros-backed DA” of weaponizing the law “to target a political opponent”.
It’s interesting to me that DeSantis said he wouldn’t cooperate with an extradition request. I was under the impression that either there wouldn’t be an extradition request or that it was automatic.
Whatever the case, DeSantis clearly didn’t waste any time calling Alvin Bragg out for using his position to target his enemies.
And I’m glad he used the term ‘un-American’, because that’s absolutely right.
