Governor Greg Abbott has just announced that they have begun building the border wall on the southern border and he’s got video showing the land being cleared:
Building the border barrier has begun.
The 1st step is to get easements on land.
The 2nd step is to clear the land for the building process.
That is what is happening here.

This is great news, as it appears Abbott is going through with his plan to continue building the border wall. To quote a famous comedian, ‘get ‘er done!’

NEWSMAX – Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, and the Biden administration are at odds over the governor’s plan to close state shelters being used to house about 4,500 unaccompanied migrant children, Politico reported Monday.
Abbott and the Department of Health and Human Services this month have exchanged “tense” letters, obtained by Politico, that show Abbott being defiant to President Joe Biden’s immigration and border policies.
“The federal government must solve the federal problem caused by the Biden administration’s disastrous open-border policies,” Abbott wrote in a recent letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, according to Politico. “Texas will not be commandeered into federal government service.”
The governor, considered a potential 2024 presidential or vice presidential GOP contender, plans to revoke the licenses of any shelter that continues to serve migrant kids beginning Aug. 31.
Abbott’s plan could upend the administration’s refugee resettlement effort and has left federal health officials threatening to sue, according to Politico.
I’m glad Abbott is building the wall again and taking the fight to the Biden administration because Texas shouldn’t stand by and be overrun because of Biden’s horrible border policies. People can say this is just politics all they want, but I truly believe Abbott is trying to do the right thing by Texas here and it’s laudable.
