CNN’s Jim Acosta tried to show his butt today in the briefing, asking McEnany why Trump is “sharing fake videos about two toddlers”, accusing Trump of exploiting children to make some “crass political point”.
Jim Acosta was being smugly idiotic today, intentionally spinning Trump’s joke video about CNN as some sort of ‘fake video’ about children. And the exploitation of children angle was just dumb.
Acosta kept suggesting the video was about children, knowing full well that’s not what it was about. Kayleigh hit back hard, noting the video was about the misleading headlines that are frequently on CNN, and went on to name a few.
I did like how she highlighted the double standard of CNN praising the protests and rallies, but vilifying Trump’s rally over the coronavirus.
