The guests in this clip from Brian Stelter’s show today were there to talk about people living in little self-imposed partisan information bubbles, and the networks that coddle them.
As they were explaining it, Stelty tried to pin his Fox hate as the subject, smugly
“Basically, you’re proving what we’ve sensed for a while, which is that Fox viewers are in the dark about bad news for the GOP,” Stelter said.
And Joshua Kalla, the Yale researcher he was interviewing, gave potato a reality check.
“That’s right. Fox and CNN cover different issues, and Fox News predominantly covers issues that make the GOP look good, and make Democrats look bad. On the flip side, CNN engages in this partisan coverage filtering as well,” he said.

And guess what, Kalla brought receipts. After he finished, Stelter was all of the sudden not as thrilled with the researcher.
“I think you’re engaging in some both sides-ism there, Josh!” he said with that toothy frozen banshee grin he does he when he’s humiliated – it happens a lot.

The guy’s study seems a bit dubious to me anyway, but it’s AWESOME to see every time someone spits in CNN’s face. It’s so richly deserved.
