Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope it’s a wonderful day for you and your families to share in a good meal and fellowship.

I know I have a lot to be thankful for and I’m sure you do as well.

As you all know I have been dealing with cancer treatments for colorectal cancer this year and we’re quickly approaching the end of it. The last part of this process is surgery to remove the cancer and then I should be good to go after a few months of healing, of course. That should take place in the middle of December.

But no matter what happens I am thankful for having gone through this process, especially the fact that I am doing it now and not ten or twenty years from now.

I am also thankful for all my readers at TRS. This year has been a bumpy road related to the blog as well, as Google has now dropped me because they are a bunch of leftists who hate conservatives. It’s really that simple.

You may have noticed the ads on the site have changed from the typical display ads to more obnoxious ads. I apologize for that but I’m just trying to stay afloat until I can get a replacement ad company for Google, since they were the biggest part of the site’s income.

But most of all I am thankful to God for my Catholic faith. Everything in the universe could end tomorrow but I will still have my faith in God and His great love to hold me in His fellowship. I get distracted a lot by this world, but the truth is that God’s Love for us is the most real and powerful thing in existence and I don’t know where any of us would be without it.

So, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and God bless you all.

And try not to eat too much.
