Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s that time of year again when we get together with our families to sit down and eat a big meal of Turkey and wonderful side dishes, with much gratitude in our hearts – hopefully.

As I sit here and ponder all the things in my heart I am grateful for, I must say that I am so happy that both of my parents are still with me. I will be going to my mom’s house today for Thanksgiving, where the crowd will be a little lighter than normal. But I think it will be an awesome day.

I am so happy that I still have a wonderful group of Catholic friends who’ve helped me in the good and bad times, and I am grateful to be able to serve in my choir at my church.

I am very happy for you Right Scoopers, who come here day in and day out to keep up with the news. I know I have some long time veterans here too, and you are much appreciated. I don’t know where I’d be without you all.

I’ve made some great new friends in the last year in a radio hobby, and I am grateful for them today as well.

But, as always, where would I be without my faith in my savior Jesus, who gave everything to be with me. He is who I’m supremely thankful for on this day, because without Him life just wouldn’t have any meaning or purpose.

I want to wish you all a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. I know some of you may be alone today, or maybe you are in a situation where you wish you were alone, so please come here and share company with each other.

Go Cowboys!

P.S. I almost forgot to mention how thankful I am that President Trump won the election last year! Seriously!
