After all the backlash three university presidents got for their horrible answers yesterday claiming calls for the genocide of Jews doesn’t violate their student conduct policies, the president of Harvard has seemingly had a change of heart.
Harvard released this statement a few hours ago from President Claudine Gay:
Statement from President Gay: There are some who have confused a right to free expression with the idea that Harvard will condone calls for violence against Jewish students. Let me be clear: Calls for violence or genocide against the Jewish community, or any religious or ethnic…

Statement from President Gay: There are some who have confused a right to free expression with the idea that Harvard will condone calls for violence against Jewish students. Let me be clear: Calls for violence or genocide against the Jewish community, or any religious or ethnic group are vile, they have no place at Harvard, and those who threaten our Jewish students will be held to account.
This statement didn’t go over well because she could have at least said this yesterday:
You should have said this yesterday, live, in-person and on camera.
Not today, after your PR firm told you you needed to clean it up.
It’s too late now. It’s not credible. https://t.co/XUY2vL75by

Weird how Claudine Gay was clearly asked to condemn this like 9 times under oath yesterday and wouldn't do it . But now after mass outrage suddenly she issues a statement. And @Harvard says we're the confused ones? #fuckharvard #harvard #ClaudineGay https://t.co/gtsCnzZC5x

Too little too late! The entire country heard loud & clear where Harvard stands – it's on the wrong side of history. Leadership matters. President Gay should resign immediately. @Harvard @MIT & @Penn should take action to ensure the safety & security of Jewish students. https://t.co/1lqikbo27T

Just quit. Or Harvard Corporation and Board of Overseers fire President Gay and everyone in the administration and on the faculty who have created or indulged this environment of anti-Semitic hate and left-wing ideology that is omnipresent at the university. https://t.co/wRsQSDfiJ0

Let me be clear. No one is confused about this desperate attempt at cleaning up your pathetic antisemitic answers yesterday. You cannot undo the moral depravity and shame. And everyone in the world knows it. @Harvard https://t.co/inuWSUtkbw

There's plenty of videos of the students and faculty who called for the genocide of Jews and Israelis. When exactly will you be holding them to account @Harvard? https://t.co/JJhAs94XFs
