The Mueller hearing is still ongoing but one of the biggest revelations from the hearing is that Mueller doesn’t seem to know much about his own Special Counsel’s report.
From Brit Hume…
It seems evident from the hearing that Mueller’s role in the Russia investigation was purely supervisory, which would help explain his evident unfamiliarity with all but the topline findings of his report.

From Mark Meadows:
This is remarkable. Mueller can’t answer key questions, seems unaware of basic information, and admitted he denied exoneration of Trump over a standard that doesn’t exist.
No one needs to discredit this process. Team Mueller and House Democrats are discrediting it by themselves.

From Sean Davis:
I'm not sure anyone could have done more to discredit Mueller's report and investigation than Mueller is doing right now. He can't answer simplec questions about his own investigation, fumbles answers about his own report, and seems utterly befuddled by what's happening.
— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) July 24, 2019
Chris Wallace is calling the hearing a disaster for Mueller’s reputation and for Democrats:
There’s more I could add, but you get the idea. Mueller’s credibility on his own investigation has suffered a lot today.
Another huge revelation, which is connected to the first revelation, is that Mueller says he isn’t familiar with Fusion GPS:
Mueller either has severe & concerning memory loss or he knows less about what happened in 2016 than we do. How the hell does he not know who Fusion GPS is? They’re a central player in the attempt to takedown @realDonaldTrump. They’re named in his report! pic.twitter.com/TI2qqOZ25v

Mueller “isn’t familiar” with Fusion GPS? Then why IN HIS OWN REPORT did he call them “the firm that produced the Steele reporting?” and cite a reference to a NYT story which names Fusion GPS? 🤡🤡🤡 pic.twitter.com/bp6pmqRgvT

That is quite shocking.
The only conclusion here is that Mueller either suffers from tremendous memory loss, or that he was only a supervisor and didn’t get into the details of his investigation or write his report.
Here are a few key videos and notes from the hearing thus far:
Mueller Is Finished.
Toast.
Done.
Rep. @mattgaetz buried him.Gaetz: Can you state that the Steele dossier wasn't Russian disinformation?
Mueller: Dossier is before my time.
Gaetz: So were Manafort's crimes. You charged him.
Mueller: Not my purview.
Gaetz: IT IS IN YOUR REPORT! pic.twitter.com/e0hHqW0wcC— Benny (@bennyjohnson) July 24, 2019
🚨WOW🚨
Rep. @Jim_Jordan just rips the bark off Mueller:
"You can charge 13 Russians, no one has ever heard of, you can charge all kinds of people around the president with false statements, but the guy who puts this whole story in motion, you can’t charge him?"
Just. Savage. pic.twitter.com/NuSi1yIrGt

Jim Jordan notes that according to Mueller's report, key DOJ witness Joseph Mifsud, who helped launch the anti-Trump investigation, repeatedly lied to Mueller's investigators. Jordan asked why Mifsud wasn't charged for lying. Mueller refused to answer.
— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) July 24, 2019
Jim Jordan let Mueller off easy. When asked about Joseph Mifsud, Mueller said it was outside his perview, yet his own report discussed Mifsud, specifically Mifsud’s conversation w Papadopoulos. It was clear that Mueller doesn’t know what his own report says.
