John Cornyn has really upset a lot of conservatives. He not only lead the negotiations for this gun control bill, but he promised to compromise on immigration tonight too. I’m not kidding.
More positive ~~ vibes ~~ on Senate floor.
A smiling Cornyn tells Padilla, “First guns, now it’s immigration”
“That’s right, we’re going to do it,” Sinema added

This guy is becoming more RINO as the days go by. Seriously, Texas needs to replace him. It’s too bad that he just came in with Biden because he’s got another four years.
He was also overheard rebutting complaints, like that from Marco Rubio, that the bill came out tonight and Republicans were expected to vote on it without much time to really study it:
Cornyn overhead on Senate floor: “It’s only 80 pages long, how long do you need to read it”

It’s not just about reading the legislation, but also understanding all of its complexities. The arrogance of Cornyn here is sickening.
