CNN is being mocked (again), this time for their amazing anonymous source that said that Trump would absolutely NOT bring up the Russians meddling in our election in his meeting with his BFF Putin.

So. Yeah. Some anonymous sources are better than others I guess.
Now here are your sooper-caveats. We don’t know that he brought it up. He said he did, and the Russians said he did, and then they say they concluded something completely different. Trump isn’t known for being terribly accurate about these things.
Further, the fact that he’s so unpredictable means that the report might have been accurate – the plan MIGHT have been to not talk about meddling in the election. Trump could have told his aides that and then completely changed the plan while he was being charmed by the leprechaun president of Russia.
OR alternately, they might have purposely put this story out just to discredit the media.
The fact is, we just don’t know. Because there are few things in history that are ever actually settled fact…
