Here’s one more very important fact about Cory Booker’s dishonest stunt this morning…

After Cory Booker’s stunt this morning in the Senate where he declared it was his “I am Spartacus” moment, the news media quickly reported that the confidential documents he was going to die on his sword to make public were already public.

But there’s actually more to that story.

Up to this point I figured that since Sen. Cornyn admitted not knowing that the documents had already been made public, that Booker probably didn’t know either.

Well now I think it’s just the opposite. Here’s statement by George W. Bush’s records representative put out a little while ago:

How could Booker not know about it? His staff were the ones who requested it and Burck says that he told Booker that he could use the document publicly.

So yeah, he knew and did this anyway. Which is probably why his office has been stonewalling all day about whether they knew or not.
