If you’ve been following this weekend’s controversy of the Covington Catholic high school students in the red MAGA hats versus the Native American protester, then you already know that these kids really didn’t do anything wrong.
Between social media, the MSM and the lies told by Nathan Phillips to the Washington Post, this story has been blown completely out of the realm of truth and into fiction. Unfortunately for Nick Sandmann, the student who was facing Phillips in the video, he and his family have been inundated with death threats since this happened.
Late yesterday, Sandmann released a statement explaining what really happened at the Lincoln Memorial and I wanted to make sure that you got a chance to read it in full:

This reminds of what happened in Ferguson a few years ago. The MSM rushed in with their cameras to get the scoop on what happened in the shooting of Michael Brown and were lied to by people claiming that Brown was shot in the back by a white police officer. This led the police officer having to go into hiding to protect himself and his family and he was found guilty in the court of public opinion before all the facts had even come out. And as we all know, that courageous officer was only defending himself from Michael Brown who was attacking him.
My point is that the MSM doesn’t ever seem to learn, or care about how they’ve helped promote these false stories into public outrage. Nobody ever waits for the facts anymore and thus innocent people like Nick Sandmann are vilified and even threatened.
