In an interview with Catherine Herridge from CBS News, Rudy Giuliani unleashed this morning on John Bolton, calling him a backstabber.

Giuliani said he thought Bolton was a personal friend, but Bolton never came to him suggesting there was anything wrong with what he was doing in Ukraine. He says that Bolton being a backstabber is the only conclusion he can come to, which he feels very bad about.
When challenged by Herridge on how serious an accusation that is, Giuliani said “it’s not serious, it’s true”:
If your friend was complaining about you behind your back and didn’t have the guts to come up to your face and tell you “I think you’re screwing up…”, that’d be a backstabber. That’s a classic backstabber.
Giuliani goes on to call Bolton a swamp character and said he can’t imagine that Trump ever said that to Bolton. Watch Herridge’s full report below:
