Today in a letter to his colleagues, Jim Jordan officially announced a run for Speaker of the House to replace outgoing Paul Ryan:

Here’s the actual letter from Jordan:
I feel like it’s always a long shot trying to get a conservative speaker given how RINO the Congress has gotten. Same in the Senate.
But it would certainly be a welcome change and I wish Jordan the best and hope he can garner enough votes from his colleagues to win. It will be an uphill battle though, as the last I heard, both McCarthy and Scalise had their eye on the speakership.
