Liberals were once praising how “presidential” and “noble” it was for Hillary Clinton to accept the results of the election, but she screwed all of that up by coming out in support of a scheme to steal it from Trump!
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta on Monday backed Electoral College electors who are asking to receive an intelligence briefing on foreign interventions into the 2016 election ahead of their December 19 vote.
The statement is the closest Podesta and Clinton’s former campaign infrastructure have come calling into question the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency and suggests that Clinton’s campaign feels Electoral College members should do the same.

So the unlikely scheme depends on persuading the electors NOT to follow the will of the people who elected them, and instead vote for someone-else-but-probably-Hillary based on new info that has come to light.
Here’s more on how the scheme hatched from the fertile minds of liberals:
A group of electors for Clinton — a minority among the 538 men and women who will officially vote for Trump as president later this month — called for a briefing ahead of the vote in an open letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
The ten electors from five states asked Clapper for information on “whether there are ongoing investigations into ties between Donald Trump, his campaign or associates, and Russian government interference in the election, the scope of those investigations, how far those investigations may have reached, and who was involved in those investigations.”
They also asked for “all investigative findings” from the intelligence community on Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election.
It really depends on what information they might see from our intelligence services, but I really doubt that it will make enough people switch their vote over. AND just imagine if it does happen – do you really think the more crazed Trump voters will simply stay at home and take it? This is a silly pipe dream stemming from liberal desperation.
