Hillary Clinton tries to dunk on Trump over rally next week, fails miserably…

As we reported recently, Trump has announced he’s holding a rally in Oklahoma next Friday on Juneteenth. In the signup process for the rally, in will include a liability waiver regarding the coronavirus:

This is not unusual, as businesses have sought liability protection from Congress on this very issue so they could open up their businesses without having to worry about being sued because someone caught the coronavirus.

CBS News is also reporting that some businesses are now requiring consumers to sign liability waivers before they are allowed to interact with the business:

Arlington, Virginia, resident John Breyault’s first haircut in months included a few extra steps that had never been a highlight of his pre-pandemic trims. “Before they let in me in the door, they took my temperature and had me sign a COVID-19 liability waiver,” recalled Breyault, a public policy expert with the National Consumers League.

Long a part of high-risk activities like skydiving, liability waivers are expected to become commonplace in ordinary settings where social distancing is a challenge. That includes theme parks, live events, beauty salons and doctors’ offices.

“Consumers should expect to be asked to sign more of these liability waivers at least for the foreseeable future,” Breyault said.

Again, not unusual.

But Hillary Clinton, seeking to dunk on Trump, tweeted “If your rallies come with a liability waiver, you shouldn’t be holding them”:

People were quick to respond noting the elephant in the room that Hillary won’t talk about:

To crystalize the point these people are making, just look at this protest held in Los Angeles four days ago. Where was Hillary Clinton and Democrats on this:

It’s all well and good for these protesters to get out and protest, who are clearly not social distancing, but Trump shouldn’t be holding a rally? Just nonsense.
