Hollywood votes tonight on removing Trump’s STAR from the Walk of Fame and here’s WHY

UPDATE: THEY VOTED!

Hollywood has decided they don’t want Trump’s star on the Hollywood walk of Fame anymore and are going to vote tonight to remove it:

HOLLYWOOD REPORTER – The West Hollywood City Council will vote Monday night on a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to permanently remove Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star.

The marker, which was unveiled in 2007, has been vandalized numerous times and completely destroyed twice.

“The City Council will consider adopting a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Donald J. Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country,” reads the agenda item for the Monday meeting.

The staff report for the resolution lists numerous reasons for the matter, including the separation of children from their parents at the border, the denial of the impacts from climate change on the word, Trump’s treatment of transgendered individuals and the denial of findings from the intelligence community of Russian interference in the 2016 election, among others.

Climate change? Really? Hollywood has completely flipped out over Trump. Why not throw in his treatment of Lebron too!

When critics called for the removal of Bill Cosby’s star from the Walk of Fame amid multiple sexual assault claims leveled against the comedian, the Hollywood chamber said it does not remove stars over public backlash and cited historical landmark status.

So Cosby, who was actually found guilty of sexually assaulting women, is untouchable. And while we’re at it, how about gay pedo Kevin Spacey?

But Trump is a bad bad man. And he denied climate change! HE’S GOT TO GO!

It remains to be seen whether or not they actually vote in the affirmative on making the recommendation to remove Trump’s star, and whether or not Los Angeles will honor their recommendation if they do. But if I were in the prediction making game, I’d say it’s gone by the weekend.
