A tanker truck carrying liquified natural gas was involved in a traffic accident this morning on a highway in Italy. At first it just caught on fire, but what came next was a massive explosion that collapsed part of the highway, and it was caught on camera:
Wow. I don’t think I’ve seen a huge explosion like that on video in a long time.
I should point out that two people died and around 70 people were injured, some with serious burns. I think it’s shocking more people weren’t killed.
