Eleven people this morning were injured when a Palestinian Muslim terrorist tried to kill them by ramming his car into the bus stop where they were standing:
JERUSALEM POST – At least eleven people were wounded in a vehicular ramming attack near the Chords Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem on Monday afternoon.
The terrorist, and east Jerusalem man, was shot and killed at the scene.
According to police, the motorist in a private vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and rammed into pedestrians near a bus stop on the capital’s Herzl Street. Police later found an axe in the car.
At least two victims, a toddler and a 65-year-old woman, were in moderate condition and nine others were in light condition. Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem was treating some of the wounded and the remainder were being treated at Hadassah University Medical Center in the capital’s Ein Kerem neighborhood.
The terrorist had an axe in his possession but was never able to get out of the car and use it, thankfully, because he was shot and killed:
In previous attacks, after running a car into a crowd, Palestinian Muslim terrorists would get out of the car and start hacking at people with the axe. I think we can safely assume that was this terrorist’s intention.
