I can remember when making jokes about a sitting president dying were at the very least frowned upon, or even called racist.
But in the age of Trump there are apparently no such rules on the left for Democrat Alcee Hastings and his cheering fans:
Hastings joked that a crisis would be if Trump fell into the Potomac and couldn’t swim. A catastrophe would be if “anybody saved his ass”.
And the crowd loved it.
What is this, a hateful tea party?
