When Trump visited Houston he couldn’t help but slam the media in a jab while he was praising first responders:
Pres. Trump praises Coast Guard for saving people "by going into winds that the media would not go into…unless it's a really good story." pic.twitter.com/6JFH45o0wn

Bill Bishop, of KHOU, was fed up with it and tweeted back in response:
I've had with the insults. Let's see him stand in E. coli water reporting for hours like the media does. #khou https://t.co/RGszOKhjnA

He’s got a point, right? We’ve been documenting for years how the media is biased and unfair against Republicans, but Trump takes it to a jihad-like level where he vilifies every single reporter, and acts like they’re all Nazis and satanists. Some are better and some are worse, and some perform truly heroic acts in the pursuit of a story. Broad-brushing them all doesn’t encourage the good ones to be better, it just forces them to defend unfair attacks.
As an aside, KHOU was one of the hardest hit news stations, with one office having to close down, and their reporters doing amazing things while out covering the storm.
