The United States Postal Service just announced they were suspending mail delivery for a neighborhood in Santa Monica, California after their mail carriers were getting assaulted:
USPS says multiple mail carriers have been assaulted or are under the threat of assault from one person in this Santa Monica area who, for whatever reason, hasn’t been located and arrested by police.
Therefore they are suspending their mail service for this area, which means people at these addresses will have to go pickup their mail from the nearest post office.
Now I don’t see and hear everything but I’ve never heard of this happening before. I know this is just one guy at the moment, but that’s still pretty dang serious so that the USPS would stop mail delivery.
