In the latest example of Democrats celebrating high gas prices in order to push Americans into expensive electric cars, Senator Debbie Stabenow takes the stage:
Stabenow gleefully explained how she just got an electric vehicle and drove by every gas station between Michigan and DC, not caring how high the gas was along the way…
“I have to say just on the issue of gas prices, after waiting for a long time to have enough chips in this country to finally get my electric vehicle, I got it and drove it from Michigan to here this last weekend and went by every single gas station and it didn’t matter how high it was.
And so I’m looking forward to the opportunity for us to move to vehicles that aren’t going to be dependent on the whims of the oil companies and the international markets.”
Electric vehicles are expensive, costing somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 and up. And that doesn’t include the $1,500 it will take to get a charging station if you don’t to spend a ton of time doing it remotely because your 200 miles are up.
This is what Democrats want to force Americans to buy with these high gas prices and why Stabenow doesn’t really care how high prices get. She’s got her electric vehicle and I can assure you she’s got a nice one. And she’s looking forward to the opportunity to force you to shell out the big bucks too.
This bit from her about the oil and gas industry is all lies. It’s Biden and his henchmen who has caused gas prices to surge to record levels because they want to transition us to oil and gas.
