On MSNBC today, Gov. Mike Huckabee threw Dr. Ben Carson under the bus over the continuing scrutiny of the personal stories he has shared in his memoirs. Far from expressing sympathy or solidarity in the face of a hostile media, as most of his fellow candidates (including Jeb! of all people) have done, Huckabee instead basically said that this what you get, pal (like Trump has done.)
Oh, and he threw in this little gem, too:
I will go on record today and tell you this today, Mika: I never hit my mother with a hammer, and I never stabbed anybody. Never wrote about it either. So there you go. At least I’m on the record about that.
