HUH? Trump claims he doesn’t know who gave Fauci a presidential commendation (and more) – [VIDEOS]

Trump was on Megyn Kelly’s show last night and she pressed him on why he didn’t fire Fauci, instead giving him a presidential commendation.

But Trump claimed he didn’t know who gave Fauci the commendation:

You can see this tweet has already gotten a community note because Trump just isn’t telling the truth on this. He’s trying to play it off, but it was in fact him who gave the award to Fauci and everyone else on his Operation Warp Speed Team.

Trump also lied again about DeSantis again (I know, shocker), claiming he shut down beaches, roads and hospitals (he didn’t) and claiming he shut down his state for ‘a lot longer’ than a month (not true):

In terms of the state itself, DeSantis began reopening his state in late April. Megyn Kelly wasn’t wrong when she said ‘for a month’, but Trump was absolutely wrong.

She didn’t do a great job of pushing back on Trump’s lies in this clip, but that’s probably because she didn’t want to upset him and lose access or something.
