Trump made one thing very clear today in the press briefing regarding Georgia’s reopening tomorrow, and that is he’s not happy with governor’s plan and he’s not happy with the governor himself:
Trump didn’t parse his words at all, saying rather bluntly “I’m not happy about it & I’m not happy about Brian Kemp.” And he said that multiple times throughout his answer.
What Trump is happy about is Kemp’s decision to open hair and nail salons, barbershops, tattoo parlors, gyms, spas and other similar close contact businesses this early.
Trump said he could have stopped Kemp but that he’s leaving it up to the governors. He did note that he discussed Kemp’s plan with both Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, as well as Pence, and none of them were happy with it.
