El Trumpo appeared to backtrack on whether troops should shoot at migrants who might throw rocks at them the way they did at Mexican law enforcement.
I think a lot of the rhetoric against the migrants is a little nuts, but it’s also crazy to say they’re not a threat at all when they’ve already shown violence against Mexican officials. That is what the left is saying – these are just peaceful people, while the right is saying they’re cannibalistic ISIS demon rapists. The truth is somewhere in the middle of the rhetoric – many of the migrants are not a threat, but some of them can be. And that’s enough to give Trump the mandate to shut it down.
He also ripped into the media for suggesting he’s at fault for some of the political violence we’re seeing:

This is another topic where both sides are exceedingly hypocritical – the right for blaming Democratic rhetoric for violence while ignoring Trump’s rhetoric, and the left for the exact opposite. But it’s understandable – after years of the media being completely unfair, some of us just want to see someone slap them back. And Trump is definitely doing that… also #MAGA!!
