Maxine Waters went on CNN last night and just began spewing her conspiracy theories about Trump and Putin without any pushback from CNN:
It’s really amazing what CNN lets Democrats get away with when it comes to Trump. In this case Maxine Waters says that even though she doesn’t have any facts to prove this, she believes Putin wanted to elect Trump in order to get rid of the sanctions on him that came as a result of his incursion into Crimea, and that Trump agreed with Putin that if elected he’d drop the sanctions. Waters says that Trump hasn’t been able to do it yet, but he wants to do it.
This is such garbage because Trump has acted exactly in the opposite way, increasing the sanctions on Russia since he’s been elected. But even more than that, there was a multi-year investigation by Special Counsel Mueller that found there was zero collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign.
Yet CNN’s Erin Burnett doesn’t care and just lets Waters spew her unhinged BS for a minute and a half with zero pushback. Zilch. It’s completely irresponsible and is just one more reason why CNN has become number one in untrusted news.
