Another up and coming Republican politician that may one day be North Carolina’s governor is the current Lt. Governor Mark Robinson.
Over the weekend he gave a fantastic speech at CPAC Texas and here’s an excerpt that you’re sure to love:
This is from Saturday but I thought it was too good to pass up. In it Robinson summarizes what the left is trying to do to us in this country and his big applause line was this:
“They’re called socialists, they’re called communists, I just prefer to call them idiots.”
I love that Robinson isn’t scared to mock the transgender issue in the video, asking “who in the world came up with that garbage?!?”, referring to the term ‘birthing people’.
I would say that Robinson clearly has a future in the state and perhaps further. I hope he runs for NC Governor when Cooper’s second term is up in 2024. I think he would make a great leader for the state and a victory would give North Carolina Republicans hope once again of passing serious and much needed legislation.
