Ted Cruz is at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin today, along with a slew of other political big shots (and little shots) from Thursday through today.
When Cruz was on stage he talked about who is running for president in 2024, and why he hasn’t decided yet himself if he’s going to. He said that everyone in the GOP is waiting for Trump, and they have to, and that anyone beating their chest and pretending they aren’t concerned about running against him is just lying.
And he assessed who is running from the Democrats. It’s pretty funny that even the journo interviewing him agrees that Buttigieg and Kamala have been knifing each other “since day one.”

“They’re gonna go at it like crazy. It’s gonna be a crowded and nasty field.”
Yeeeeup. As he points out, so will the GOP side, but we all know it won’t be near as ugly as the Dem.
