“I thought she was smarter than this” – Nikki Haley gives ridiculous reasons for her latest criticism of Gov DeSantis and Disney [VIDEO]

Nikki Haley sat down with David Brody, who asked her why she invited a woke Disney to her state and criticized DeSantis for going after them.

Her answer was absurd, but also the kind of answer you’d expect from a swampy politician:

Here’s the ridiculous part: “Keep in mind DeSantis took $50,000 worth in contributions from Disney prior to this. He took their executives and lobbyists and put them on prominent state boards. He passed the largest corporate subsidies in Florida’s history for Disney in Florida right before this. So suddenly they criticize you and you’re going to have thin skin and do a lawsuit that costs taxpayer dollars?”

So her reasoning for being against DeSantis holding Disney accountable is that he didn’t kowtow to his donors and let them do whatever they wanted? Like I said, swampy.

And just to make this clear, Disney didn’t just make some ‘comment’ or ‘criticize’ DeSantis over the parental rights legislation protecting children from the LGBT movement. They tried to STOP the legislation from even happening. We’re talking about elementary school children and keeping this woke LGBT garbage out of the classroom. DeSantis wasn’t being thin-skinned, he was holding them accountable by taking away the tremendous special privileges they were given years ago when they were a wholesome company, special privileges they were now abusing in trying to push this gender ideology crap on children.

There is nothing about this Q&A with Haley on this issue that I like. She should have defended that he stood up to his donor class on this issue, in the name of protecting children. But she didn’t. As Tom Elliott says…
