‘I WILL FIGHT YOU’: President Trump gives Texas House an ultimatum on Paxton impeachment

The impeachment proceedings against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton “should not be allowed to happen or proceed,” said Donald Trump on Saturday, and promised he will “fight” them if it does.

The debate is still underway on the Texas House floor at the time of this post, but the fact that the question is even under debate, and that’s at the urging of the Republicans under Dade Phelan, has been a huge controversy in the state and among Republicans nationwide this weekend.

MAGA has come out hard in favor of Paxton and against Phelan, recently filmed slurring uncontrollably while presiding over the chamber.

And Trump joined that outrage that was also shared by Don Jr. this week.

The fight isn’t over, but when the floor debate is done on Saturday they are expected to vote on whether to proceed.

And apparently that’ll also be a vote on whether to have Trump come after them or not. Gonna be interesting that’s for dang sure.

And here’s Paxton’s presser yesterday. It was a doozy.
