The sanctuary city policies of San Francisco is costing the taxpayers $180,000 after an illegal alien sued the city for not following their own rules and handing him over to federal immigration officials.
Pedro Figueroa-Zarceno is illegally in the United States but originally from El Salvador. In December of 2015 he went to a police station to report a stolen car. When police ran his name, they found a warrant for his arrest. But they were unable to find details about the warrant.

That’s when they called immigration officials, and released him through a side door where immigration officials arrested him.
Amazingly, Zarceno actually sued the city for disobeying its own sanctuary city policies, and cooperating with immigration officials on federal law!! You can SUE FOR THAT!!
He settled with the city for $180,000, saying the legal action was intended to force the city to obey its own policies.
So in addition to inviting illegals to murder and rob their citizens by force, San Francisco is letting them rob them through lawsuit!! That is. Awesome. Great job, liberals!!
