A new video from across the street, with audio, shows the chaotic scene the officer in Columbus drove up to before having to shoot Ma’Khia Bryant:
You can literally hear Bryant scream “I’m going to stab the F**** out of you, B****!” before she tries to stab the girl in the pink. And the officer heard that too! It’s hard to hear the officer in this video, but he yelled ‘get down’ several times according to the bodycam video and Bryant didn’t stop. She just kept going and we all know what happened next.
This video is important because it shows just how fast everything devolved and how quickly this officer had to act to save the girl in pink’s life. If he hadn’t been so well trained, there may have been at least one casualty if not more.
