Man I just don’t understand how people can be so evil. This poor 70-year-old woman was left with broken bones and facial injuries after this a-hole ex-con lured her to his truck by asking for directions to homeless shelters and then stole her purse. It happened in Nashville.

Metro Nashville Police are searching for a man responsible for robbing a 70-year-old woman after bible study, resulting in broken bones and facial injuries.
Police say 48-year-old Gilbert D. Ostring Jr. drove up to the woman in the parking lot of Lebanon Church of Christ and asked for the location of nearby shelters. While still in his Dodge pickup truck, Ostring reached out the window and forcibly grabbed the woman’s purse.
The force of yanking the purse caused her to fall face-first onto the pavement. Police say the woman suffered broken bones in her right hand and facial injuries.
Police say Ostring is an ex-con who now has a robbery warrant out for his arrest. He has previous offenses for theft, forgery, identity theft, fraud, and reckless aggravated assault. He was released from state prison in June 2017.
He was last seen driving the Dodge truck with TN license plate 8K76T3.

It’s bad enough to rob younger people, but to pick on little old ladies like this just makes me want to rain hell on this guy. I mean, she probably would have given him money if he’d just asked!
The good news is the police know exactly who he is, so they’ll probably get him pretty quickly. I sure hope they do.
