I would really… really.. REALLY love to hear how the Philadelphia Muslim Society public relations team spun this crazy video that is being shared virally all over social media.
This is just bizarre:
I’m pretty cool with unorthodox expressions of religious faith, after all, we enjoy that as a constitutional protection, but when you got cute little tykes chanting, “the blood of martyrs protects us!” well, you gotta wonder if that’s what the founders intended.
I kinda doubt it.
“We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque!!” is not the most multicultural statement I’ve heard. Out of kids. In Philadelphia. Kinda problematic.
Ironically, the Al-Aqsa mosque is in Jerusalem, but it is only traditionally understood as the mosque that Muhammed made on his “night trek” in the Koran. It is not NAMED in the Koran. So it’s almost as if they began calling it a holy site after the Jews took it over. Weird huh.
