A news interview today with Joe Biden’s campaign spokeswoman ended on an odd note after she was asked about cognitive function and voting.
At first Adrienne Elrod pretended like she didn’t understand this question: “How much should a candidate’s cognitive function factor into that decision when someone votes?”
Elrod responded that she didn’t even know what that meant.
The interviewer asked the question again, saying “When they vote, should they be thinking about which candidate, how they’re functioning cognitively?”
Elrod then responded “Absolutely, they should.”
A little stunned perhaps, the interviewer’s eyes got kinda big and he just ended the interview right there.
