Is 2020 Dem candidate Cory Booker a RACIST? Isn’t that what you are if you think illegal immigration is unsafe?

Spartacus must have been a millipede, because his wanna-be namesake Cory Booker does not ever run out of feet to put in his mouth. This time, he told Face the Nation that an influx of illegal immigrants is a bad thing and unsafe.

Howzzat now? Aren’t we supposed to think the opposite? That illegal immigration is great and saying their presence in large numbers makes people unsafe is … racist?

Is Cory Booker a racist? Could be, could be.

“He’s trying to pit Americans against each other and make us less safe,” said Booker. He really belabored the point, too. Kept talking about fear and being afraid and dividing. Really hammered the point home that having illegal immigrants in your (sanctuary) town ain’t that grand.

I wasn’t the only one who noticed.

We could go on, and Twitchy does, but you probably get the picture.

So is Cory Booker a racist? Hey, it’s not a matter of whether I think it’s a fair question. The point is the left thinks it is.

  1. I’m getting pretty sick and tired of hearing democrats and Leftists accusing us of the very things THEY are guilty of. Projecting their darkest faults onto us. Pretending WE are the “bad” people (as they laundry list all their own faults). Exhibit A: “He’s trying to pit Americans against each other and make us less safe.” This sort of crap is so painfully obvious and hypocritical… and they keep getting away with it. Animals!

  2. “Beware of people who use fear rather than common sense…”

Well, ok Cory. We sure will.

    😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

  3. “He’s trying to pit Americans against each other and make us less safe,” said Booker.

He’s actually correct on that point. But, like all progressives, for the wrong reasons.

This is the entire problem with Donald Trump. In lieu of having any principles or plan, he gains support by enraging a bunch of people and then pitting them against another group. True, that bunch was already pretty enraged, and they were more or less already pointed against that other group – but he gave them a banner. Now I AM NOT SAYING that Trump is Hitler – but this is also what Hitler did. Just saying. JUST. SAYING. That is a historical point I am making, nothing more. Orange Clown is not Tiny German With One Nut And Weird Mustache. Let me be VERY clear on that point, before anyone pops a testicle in rage.

    1. Also, Margie’s rack looks fantastic in that shirt. JUST. SAYING.

Oh, and as far as illegals being dumped in American cities – if you’re on the right, you should be against that period. If you’re not, please tell me where to hit you with this 2×4 I’m holding.

      1. “Also, Margie’s rack looks fantastic in that shirt. JUST. SAYING.”

See. Even people who disagree can find common ground. 😆

      2. Seriously. I don’t know who this Marg lady is, but I’m paying attention now. Did she get work done? Either way, bravo.

    2. Maybe the difference between support and genocide of Jews is a distinction too subtle for your comprehension. Otherwise I have no idea the motive of your scarcely veiled comparison of President Trump to Hitler.
Beyond that your insistence that all Trump supporters are part of an angry mob forever reacting to his diabolical directives is patently stupid.

      1. Maybe the difference between support and genocide of Jews is a distinction too subtle for your comprehension.

You should re-read the post. It wasn’t about Jews and genocide – it was about how one man unified a bunch of angry, irrational people under a single banner and then pointed them at an enemy they had in common.

    3. I love the irony of the biggest troll here at TRS criticizing Trump for being divisive. Tell us more about how much you hate cops who are honest and just doing their jobs, then have a warm and fuzzy speech about how we all need to come together and sing kumbaya.

“Trump divides us and that’s bad! Trump is just like Hitler!”

      You’re bipolar.

      1. @ttt I don’t read AT’s posts anymore, but I do find the replies entertaining.

      2. You should also re-read the post. I didn’t say Trump divides us. I said that he capitalized on division and gave some very angry people who are not thinking very clearly a banner to collectivize under.

You have some audacity calling me a troll when you can’t even be bothered to read before you respond to it. It evidences that you’re of a silly, irrational mindset of “whatever AT says I’m going to be against.” That’s real trolling, son. That’s following me around just to spite posts you don’t even read. Grow up.

        1. I didn’t say Trump divides us.

What… your weak argument is that you didn’t use those precise words? You certainly were all over the concept.

“He’s trying to pit Americans against each other and make us less safe,” said Booker.

He’s actually correct on that point.

          And you also said:

he gains support by enraging a bunch of people and then pitting them against another group

But sure, you never said that “Trump divides us”.

          That’s following me around

Following you around? You post your bs over and over thread after thread. I’d have to stop reading TRS to avoid your dreck.

Here, let me save you the trouble of posting on the next few topics:

Topic: Someone quits the Trump administration because of some conflict or investigation.
AT: Trump hires only the best people, LOL!

Topic: Congress won’t fund the building of a barrier on our Southern border.
AT: Those checks from Mexico to pay for it should be here any day, amirite?

Topic: Police officer does his job pursuing a criminal.
AT: Cops are all just thugs filling their quotas.

          1. What… your weak argument is that you didn’t use those precise words? You certainly were all over the concept.

Sigh. Go back and re-read it again. I said that people were already divided. If anything, Trump united them – in hatred for Other Tribe. And gave them a voice they felt they’ve been missing over the eight years of Zero (and probably during the Bush and Clinton admins too). Which, of course, they’ve been using in full hysterical, irrational obnoxiousness. (Just like Other Tribe!)

And this was not unlike the action Fuhrer Eine Nuss engaged in, stirring up a bunch of angry, disaffected folks who were all kinds of pissed about the current state of German affairs.

Here, let me save you the trouble of posting on the next few topics:

Boy oh boy, you’re just full of straw men, aren’t you. Learning at Dr. Sissydriver’s fallacy knee, are you?

Well, since I must now correct the record:

AT: Trump hires only the best people, LOL!
Actually, I’d probably point out what a perpetual trainwreck this Administration is. This kind of thing results from poor leadership – but we already knew that Trump was sh*tty at that.

AT: Those checks from Mexico to pay for it should be here any day, amirite?
No, I usually make a point about how the right used to stand for fiscal responsibility, but Trumpers threw that principle out the window with all the rest of the ones they (claimed to) have.

AT: Cops are all just thugs filling their quotas.
Depends on whether or not that “crime” involved one person depriving another person of their rights. It rarely is with the traffic stop stories, in which case it’s a lesson that you all seem to have forgotten about liberty, and a lament that politicians put cops in this position which have the combined effects of needlessly endangering them, destroying public trust/respect in the force, and enriching the State at the expense of the citizen. And usually a bit of shade at the freedom-haters who support that disgusting scheme.

So, if you’re going to obsess over my posts – at least have the integrity to get them right. Or, wait… you’re a Trump supporter, right? Right… yea, the price of that was your integrity wasn’t it. So, never mind I guess.

        1. @dr-strangelove I just googled a little for a wordpress user comments blocker. Didn’t see anything. I may have to whip up an extension for Firefox.

          1. @ttt Let me know what you find, although my ignore list works pretty well. I laid a bunch of facts about law enforcement on her and she got mad and no longer talks to me. My feelings are crushed, but I hope to someday get over it.

Trump turned NIMBY Libs into MAGA footsoldiers merely by suggesting making sanctuary cities into sanctuaries.

      He’s getting reelected.
