There was a photo taken today of Joe Biden slowly walking in front of the cameras today and someone zoomed in on his shoes, and they do look strange.

They honestly look like they are made out of rubber. Perhaps they are anti-skid shoes? Or maybe they have airbags inside that deploy in case he falls? LOL.
Redsteeze had a pretty good comment on this a few minutes ago that I thought was worth highlighting:
Behind closed doors the president is sharp and engaged. Top of his game.
In public, he has to wear anti fall floatation shoes, use short stairs to prevent from falling, walk with a gaggle of aides to hide his gait, take pre submitted questions from reporters whose faces he needs on his note cards, needs to be pointed where to walk and sit and routinely mixes up world leaders.
Doesn’t that just say it all.
