Israel took out an Islamic Jihadi commander who was planning a terror attack on Israeli soldiers using anti-tank missiles and terror tunnels. Since then, the jihadis in Gaza have fired over 200 rockets into Israel forcing the Jewish state defends itself. Here’s the latest as of a couple of hours ago from a Fox News reporter on the ground in Israel and Gaza:

I wish that Israel would put an end to the terror coming from Gaza. But there just isn’t the political will to do what needs to be done, which is to put Israeli troops on the ground in Gaza on a search and destroy mission to once and for all rid the land of both Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Air strikes are not enough.
I understand there’s enormous pressure from around the world and pressure from within Israel to get ceasefires and an end to hostilities, but that’s just not enough. It’s time to occupy Gaza and put an end to the threat.
Of course, we all know a move like that could set off a powder keg in the Middle East. But it quite simply needs to be done and until it is, Israelis will continue to live under threat from these rockets.
