Iran got a major butt whooping in Syria last night after they fired a surface to surface missile into the Golan Heights yesterday.
Here’s video of the missile over the Golan Heights:

On Sunday, Iranian Quds Forces operating in Syria launched a surface-to-surface rocket from Syria aimed at Israel’s Golan Heights. The Iron Dome Aerial Defense System intercepted the rocket. pic.twitter.com/P7yvkpR6An

Thankfully, as they point out, the Iron Dome intercepted the missile.
Israel then launched a retaliatory response on Iran’s forces in Damascus:

During our strike, dozens of Syrian surface-to-air missiles were launched, despite clear warnings to avoid such fire. In response, we also targeted several of the Syrian Armed Forces' aerial defense batteries. pic.twitter.com/rHxJqqpI9n— Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) January 21, 2019
Israel also attacked several air-defense batteries that belong to Assad:
By firing towards Israeli civilians, Iran once again proved that it is attempting to entrench itself in Syria, endangering the State of Israel & regional stability.— Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) January 21, 2019
We will continue operating determinedly to thwart these attempts. pic.twitter.com/RBHWeBH7FW
We hold the Syrian regime responsible for everything taking place within Syria and warn them against targeting Israel or permitting others to target Israel from their soil.— Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) January 21, 2019
We are prepared for all scenarios and will continue operating as needed to defend Israeli civilians.
Iran has since threatened war with Israel:
JPOST – The commander of the Iranian Air Force warned on Monday that Iran was prepared for a decisive war with Israel, “which will bring an end to the IDF’s attacks on Syria.”
“Our armed forces are prepared for a war that will bring the crushing destruction of Israel,” he said, according to media reports. “We are ready for the day when we will see the end of Israel.”
In the last hour Netanyahu issued this statement on Twitter:
Last night the air force strongly attacked Iranian targets in Syria after Iran launched a missile from there at our territory.— Benjamin Netanyahu (@netanyahu) January 21, 2019
We will not ignore such acts of aggression as Iran attempts to entrench itself militarily in Syria and given explicit statements by Iran that it intends to destroy Israel, as the commander of the Iranian air force has just said.— Benjamin Netanyahu (@netanyahu) January 21, 2019
We are acting against Iran and against the Syrian forces that abet the Iranian aggression.— Benjamin Netanyahu (@netanyahu) January 21, 2019
Whoever tries to hurt us – we hurt them. Whoever threatens to destroy us will bear the full responsibility.
Lastly and most recently, Israel just mocked Iran for being in Syria:
Iran, you seem to be lost. Here: pic.twitter.com/ByrDyUjWDr— Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) January 21, 2019
But the real point is that terrorist Iran has no business being in Syria in the first place, and are only there to make war with Israel.
