“It needs to be told” – Robert Davi to direct upcoming movie about Hunter Biden

Robert Davi is doing what he says a very progressive Hollywood won’t do, and that is to make a movie telling the dramatic story of Hunter Biden and his nefarious life that ‘needs to be told’:

DAILY MAIL – Upcoming film ‘My Son Hunter’ scored a Bond villain and ‘Die Hard’ FBI agent to direct the expose on the ‘nefarious’ life of the president’s son, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Robert Davi, 70, has signed on with conservative filmmakers and married couple Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney to direct the film because he feels the ‘conservative movement is lacking’ entertainment content to the level of the left.

‘There’s a lot of great films that people do, but they’re not as engaging as you would say that we have coming out of Hollywood, which is mostly the progressive left. And that’s just how it’s always been,’ Davi told DailyMail.com in a phone interview on Monday.

One of Davi’s biggest concerns is making sure the story of Hunter, 51, is told in a ‘tasteful’ way that ‘humanizes’ him and the struggles he went through, while also exposing the reality surrounding the son of the most powerful world leader.

‘It tells the story, but it humanizes the characters,’ he said of the script. ‘It’s telling facts, it’s telling what happened, and at the same time it’s a delicate story because – you know.’

Davi has members of his own family who struggle with addiction, so he’s sensitive to it and it’s not something he plans to demonize in the film.

But he’s writing it because he says Hollywood is ignoring it and the story needs to be told:

Davi says he feels compelled to direct this film because he is concerned issues surrounding Hunter Biden are underreported.

‘It just was a very riveting story,’ Davi said. ‘I was wondering why it was so underreported around the world, or at least investigation – why it wasn’t investigated enough.’

‘Most people don’t know all the details about it,’ he added. ‘Meanwhile, we have tremendous facts.’

‘It needs to be examined, it needs to be told.’

Davi says the film will be an expose and entertainment, and wants it to be reminiscent of the styles of ‘American Hustle’, ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘Blow’ by ‘telling a story but in an entertaining and edgy way.’

‘It’s a dramatization, it’s a film piece of facts that happened and are dramatized in a way to get the point across and also to let the public understand what they’re missing in terms of this story – and what’s not being explained or told,’ he told DailyMail.com. ‘Here’s a guy who admits to being high on a crack pipe while he’s meeting with leaders of other parts of the world, making deals and getting $83,000 a month for five years.’

The ‘My son Hunter’ director describes himself as ‘very politically minded’, claiming he followed closely the happenings with the president’s son before signing on for the project.

‘That’s what was part of the frustration of it, of it being whitewashed by the mainstream media – most of the mainstream media,’ he said. ‘And most of the people in the world – I mean if you ask people in Europe, they really don’t know any of the story.’

‘Most people are clueless, and I think when they see the level of what’s involved in this story, you know, it’s going to be interesting.’

‘I mean look,’ Davi continued, ‘they did a movie called ‘Watergate’, you know what I’m saying, over something less nefarious. And that’s because the progressive Hollywood tells no stories.’

‘There’s a responsibility we have in society to tell the truth, expose the truth.’

I really hope the movie goes beyond his druggie lifestyle and also tells the story of how he used his father to make the family rich.

So what do you think about Davi directing this? Would you go see it in the theaters or maybe watch it at home on a streaming app?
