It’s Memorial Day – Never Forget

It’s Memorial Day 2018 and I’m sure there are many of you who are remembering a family member or a friend who gave their lives in service to this wonderful country.

I’ve been fortunate that I’ve never had a family member die in battle.

My great great great grandfather, whose first and middle names were George Washington, fought in the civil war at Gettysburg and managed to live many many years after.

My grandfather fought in WWII and managed to live until he was close to 70.

My father and my uncle fought in Vietnam and both are still alive today.

So I won’t pretend to understand what many of you are going through today, especially those of you who lost someone very close.

But I will salute you and your fallen heroes on this day and remember their patriotic service to this country. We will never forget.

Also today Trump will be participating in Memorial Day ceremonies and you can watch below:

I know Memorial Day is a day when we remember the fallen, but I just can’t let it pass without thanking those of you who’ve served in the Armed forces for your service. I salute you as well.

I leave you with this amazing quote from George S. Patton:
