IT’S SCHEDULED: House to vote on Obamacare replacement

According to Politico, the House must now believe it has the 216 votes needed to pass Trump/Ryan’s Obamacare replacement bill because they are going to vote on the bill next Thursday:

Here’s the excerpt from the Senate:

POLITICO – House Republicans will vote Thursday on Speaker Paul Ryan’s Obamacare replacement bill, two senior GOP sources told POLITICO.

The move shows that GOP leaders are confident they have the 216 votes needed to pass the bill, even as as the far-right and centrist Republicans continue to press for changes.

We need to know what changes Trump and Republicans are making to the bill. If the changes are insignificant and don’t really remove the ‘Obamacare lite’ status, then all I can say is thank God for the conservatives in the Senate, who so far seem to be pretty staunch when it comes demanding significant changes to this bill.
