In yet another example of how supporting Donald Trump means you have to lie to yourself and others about plain reality obvious to everyone, Governor Mary Fallin was forced by Jake Tapper to say that Trump was campaigning as a “racial healer”!

You can tell she really doesn’t want to say it, but Tapper asks her again, and even then she qualifies it by saying he’s “campaigning” as a racial healer, and not necessarily being one. It’s totally understandable to say that anything is better than the racial disaster that has been Obama, but that doesn’t mean Trump a white Martin Luther King Jr. [even when he was really wanting to be that].
While I think most of the accusations that Trump is a racist aren’t very well substantiated, there’s tons of evidence that his campaign loves coddling the racist alt-right extremist fringe. That’s why he’s doing insanely bad with Blacks and Hispanics, and I don’t see that changing much.
