Rashida Tlaib wants banks to stop funding new oil and gas products in the name of climate change.
Today she asked CEOs of the big banks if they had policies not to fund new oil and gas products.
Several of them said they were funding oil and gas companies to help them transition to clean energy, but Jamie Dimon gave the best answer. In fact it was so good it triggered Rashida Tlaib.

Dimon responded to Tlaib’s question by saying “Absolutely not! And that would be the road to hell for America.”
Tlaib didn’t like his response and suggested that everyone who is getting student loan relief should close their JP Morgan Chase accounts:
“Sir, you know everybody that got relief from student loans has a bank account with your bank, should probably take out their account and close their account.
She was so triggered that later she suggested that Dimon “obviously doesn’t care about working class people in front line communities like ours”, claiming they are facing huge rates of Asthma, respiratory issues and cancer because climate change.
I don’t know a ton about Jamie Dimon but I do love his response to Tlaib, far better than all the other CEOs.
