Jared Kushner rips former DHS official who came out against Trump to endorse Biden [VIDEO]

Jared Kushner was on with CNN this evening where Blitzer laid into him about all the ‘deaths’ in the US over the coronavirus. Blitzer also asked Kushner about this former DHS official who came out against Trump to endorse Biden, and Kushner had a few words for him.

The interview begins with the coronavirus, where as I suggested before, Blitzer was only focused on the deaths that have occurred in the US while Kushner defended the administration’s fight against the virus, calling it a success. Blitzer threw the deaths number at him a few times, but Kushner never wavered and I thought, handled it pretty well.

Later in the interview Kushner was asked about Miles Taylor who attacked the president today in his bid to endorse Joe Biden. I did like what Kushner had to say about him:

“Miles was a nice kid. He worked here for a couple of years. But I will say that it makes a lot of sense to me that he’s endorsing Joe Biden. When he was working at the Department of Homeland Security, no wall was built and the border was wide open. That’s why the president changed up the team there.

Again, President Trump, unlike politicians, demands results and he put in a new team. Now, I think this week, we’re going to pass 300 miles in terms of border wall. The numbers are down dramatically. Our southern border is more secure than it’s ever been which means that we’re stopping human smugglers, we’re stopping a lot of drugs from coming into the country.

And so right now, again, the President – if you can’t make it – he demands results. He’s a very tough boss. He’s a very impatient boss but he’s a very focused boss and he demands results. Clearly he wasn’t up to the task.”

I was happy to see Kushner didn’t shy away from hitting back at Taylor and did a pretty good job of calling him a loser, without explicitly saying it.
